For qualified schools that received an iPad in the Coach Empowerment Kit for their Girls Movement club, this is a valuable tool to help you have a successful program.

What is the iPad used for?

There are four key things the iPad can help you with.

  1. Marathon Kids Connect Scanner App

To scan participant ID cards for laps completed, you must download our scanner app, Marathon Kids Connect.

The scanner app works with your account to collect and credit each student for their laps and even minutes of heart-pumping activity.

This is one way to collect laps, miles, and active minutes during your running/walking season.

Visit the App Store on the device. Search Marathon Kids Connect to download the free app.

The plastic ID holders in the Coach Empowerment Kit house the participant ID cards.

2. Access your Marathon Kids Web Account

To view your account, visit marathonkids.org to log into your Marathon Kids web account for quick peeks at the data, update the girls on the club goal progress, and celebrate achievements in real time. And more!

3. Surveys

Access the participant and coach surveys to help you complete all three requirements to receive your stipend.

Open the link and let girls take turns completing the survey on the devices you provide.

4. Participant Dashboard

The iPad provides a device for participants to view their dashboards.

  1. Open marathonkids.org and click Log In.

  2. Participants click "Participant Dashboard"

  3. Scan their ID card

  4. Their very own personalized dashboard displays.
