Thank you for leading a Marathon Kids program!
The Advocate Network brings together Marathon Kids coaches, educators, and program leaders who believe in the power of movement and want to help more kids experience it.
The Network gives you opportunities to activate your advocacy in ways that feel right for you; whether that’s sharing your story, posting online, or presenting to a larger audience.
Your participation inspires and motivates other program leaders, helps more kids get active, and provides meaningful insight to funders and sponsors about the program’s real-world impact.
When you opt in to the Advocate Network, you will receive additional communications from the Marathon Kids team throughout the school year, including resources, updates, and opportunities to get involved.
Can I be more than one type of Advocate?
Yes, you can!
You should have received a Welcome email that includes links to all activation options. You can complete each form for the paths you’d like to be part of.
Complete any (or all) that fit your interests.
Story Advocate - Share your experience, quotes, or photos
Outreach Advocate – Present to a district, organization, or conference
When will I know if I am accepted into the Advocate Network?
Once you submit your form, you’re part of the network!
Which types of Advocates receive stipends?
Outreach Advocates may receive stipends to help cover costs associated with presenting. These will vary each year and are dependent on our non-profit budget and sponsor support.
After submitting the Outreach Advocate form, keep an eye on your inbox. We’ll follow up with more information and next steps by April.
We realize not all paths are eligible for a stipend, but all Advocates play an important role in growing the movement for kids.
