SUBMISSIONS

When a parent submits miles from home, Marathon Kids calls this a submission.

The ambassador (the person who claimed the organization and started the season) receives an email notification when submissions are made.

These submissions need to be approved in order for a participant to get credit and for the parent to see the mileage reflected in their account.

The Submissions table contains a list of miles submitted by parents on behalf of the participant.

  • Use the search feature to locate a participant or submission.

  • The filter-by feature allows you to filter by date, class, and status of the submission.

Columns within the Submission table

  • Date/Time Sent - timestamp of when the parent submitted the miles

  • F. Name - the first name of the participant

  • L. Name - the last name of the participant

  • Student ID - either the Marathon Kids auto-generated ID or the ID that came with the participant when they were rostered.

  • Class Name - the name of the class the participant is assigned to

  • Date Ran - the date the miles took place

  • Total Miles - total miles being submitted for approval

  • Status - current status of the submission.

    • Approved - the coach approved the submission

    • Pending - needs to be approved

    • Rejected - the coach rejected the submission

  • Parent Info Column - provides the coach the opportunity to copy the parent's email in case they need to communicate about the miles submitted.

NOTE: In order to receive a Submission from a parent, you must include parents when you rostered your participants to provide the parent an opportunity to create their Marathon Kids account that connects them to their child. They can follow their progress and submit miles to you.
